KIRSTIN NICHOLS

Hi! I'm Kirstin, a senior at the University of Maryland, College Park, earning a double degree in journalism and social data science (economics track). I'm also an NCAA DI athlete for UMD's cross country and track teams as a distance runner.

I’m very interested in social science research! I'm especially eager to research ways to improve public health behaviors and combat misinformation through communication initiatives. 

Currently, I am interning with Baltimore Magazine, where I fact-check information and write material for both print and web.
